CLP System AB delivers Bore Cleaning Systems for South Korean K9 Thunder Project

The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency, or Forsvarsmateriell, has signed a contract with Hanwha Land Systems for 24 K9 155mm, 52-caliber self-propelled howitzers with an option for 24 more. CLP System AB has been chosen to deliver their Vibrating Pneumatic Bore Brush System (VPBB) for all Norwegian K9 howitzers. All VPBB units will have the possibility to be self powered with their own mobile 24V compressor unit. The first cleaning systems have been delivered, training of the end user will start in the near future.
